How Echo Dale got it's Name

In the fall of 1944, Charlie Weir and Frank Millington joined a partnership in the dairy business. One quiet evening, while fencing on the riverbank, they noticed their voices echoing back from the red cliffs. Mr. Millington decided to name the farm "Echo Valley Farm", but later registered it as "Echo Dale Farm."
